The Samsung Intercept

The Samsung Intercept with Virgin Mobile has proven to be a great personalization phone. It is a smart phone that runs on the android operating system. With a 3 inch touch display, a 3.2 mega pixel camera and a slide out qwerty keyboard it is very operable for any smart phone user.

As with any keyboard and touch screen combination, the phone is a little bit thicker. Though it is still easily used and fits great in your palm. The qwerty keyboard is a great feature for any texter or messenger. There is quite a bit of space between each letter and the buttons themselves are large enough where you will not hit more than one button at a time. Many people have commented that this feature alone is why the Intercept is so nice to own.

Navigating the phone can be quite simple. Below the touch screen are four basic touch buttons. The four command buttons are menu, home, search and back. Users of the intercept have commented that this is probably the most disappointing feature of the phone, as the buttons do not always activate when you press them. Below these buttons you will find a call button, an end/power button and a direction pad.

Like many phones you will find the volume button on the top left side of the screen and the camera button on the bottom right. This phone is made so that if you accidentally press one of these button it will not trigger. In this case, they may have made that feature too well. It can be hard to press these buttons sometimes to make them work.

Overall, users really enjoy the intercept and have recommended it to other smart phone users. With the android market and many personalization tools this phone was deemed one of the better phones of 2010.
